武力手段是警察在临战处置暴力违法活动中不可避免的执法手段。合理有效地使用武力手段不仅能取得良好的执法效果,更能彰显警察执法能力和打击犯罪力度。盲目过度使用武力手段则可能会造成执法对象和警察自身不应有的伤害和损失,而武力手段的内容、使用时机、武力分层的把握是非常重要的。

Force action plays as an unavoidable enforcement means which will show not only effective legal results but capabilities of police,excessive application of force actions may lead to undeserved losses and damages,thus ,it is necessary to understand its intention ,moment to use and different levels in practice.
