民族主义内涵嬗变与中国现代化的道路选择

The Change of Nationalism Connotation and the Choice of Chinese Modernization Road

中国的民族主义和现代化相伴而生,互为背景。在一百多年的历史进程中,中国的民族主义内涵不断变迁,但始终存在一个"同一性":中华民族的自立与富强。这一民族主义有效地支持了中国革命及现代化进程,但其内涵过于空洞,缺乏文化、思想底蕴。在新时代,中国的民族主义必须汲取中国传统文化中的合理价值、现代化进程中人类共享的价值及文明对话过程中发现的全球价值,以坐实中国民族主义的内涵。习近平人类命运共同体思想是新时代中国民族主义意义建构和中国现代化道路选择的理论前提和目标导向。这一语境下的中国民族主义必然是现代的、开放的和面向未来的。而以这种民族主义为支撑的中国现代化道路必然既是中国的又是世界的。

Nationalism and modernization accompany each other as backgrounds in China. The connotation of Chinese nationalism has constantly changed in the course of more than one hundred years of history, but the Chinese nation＇s independence and prosperity is always an ＂identity＂. It effectively supported the Chinese revolution and modernization process. However, its connotation is too frothy and lacks of culture and ideas. In the new era, China＇s nationalism has to absorb the reasonable values of traditional Chinese culture and the values shared by human beings in the process of modernization, as well as the global values discovered during dialogues of civilizations, in order to enrich the connotations of Chinese nationalism. Xi Jinping＇s idea of Human Community with Shared Destiny is the theoretical premise and goal orientation of the construction of the meaning of Chinese nationalism and the choice of China＇s modernization path in the new era. Nationalism in this context is necessarily modern, open and future-oriented, and China＇s modernization road based on this kind of nationalism is bound to belong to both China and the world.
