从南大道到南大街

The Historical Nandajie Avenue

始建于1850年（清道光三十年）的南大街，仅有400米长，3．5米宽，是北大街南部一条辅助街道，因地处大庙以南得名南大道。到上世纪八十年代已拓展为东起解放路国际金融中心，西达西炮台南路，绵延逾5公里。把南大街称之为“烟台第一街”，并不是因为它是烟台最老的街，

From the individual migration to the vibrant economic development, and from the change of the roadside buildings to that of people's destiny, the haste pace of people and the city never stops.Started from 1850(the 30 th year of the Daoguang Reign in the Qing Dynasty), Nandajie Avenue(South Avenue) was a 400-meter-long and 3.5-meterwide subordinate avenue to the south of Beidajie Avenue(North Avenue). Its name originated from its position to the south of the Grand Temple. In 1980 s it developed into a 5-kilometer-long avenue starting from the International Financial Center in Jiefang(Liberation) Road in the east to South Xipaotai(West Battery) Road.
