The Current Behaviors and Potential Demands of Physical Examination of the Middle-aged and Elderly in the Urban and Rural Areas of Beijing

在人口老龄化和健康中国背景下,探讨北京城乡中老年人健康体检当前行为和潜在需求。使用描述性统计,分析健康体检当前参与状况、体检间隔、驱动方式、潜在健康体检需求和相关服务需求;使用回归分析考察健康体检当前行为和潜在需求的影响因素。城乡中老年人对健康体检认知较好,以年度定期体检为主,机构选择以医院为主,专业体检机构呈上升态势,单位组织、社区/村委会组织和自发体检为主要驱动方式,健康体检潜在需求远高于当前行为;性别、经济收入、居住地和健康体检认知对健康体检当前行为影响显著,经济收入和健康体检认知对潜在需求有显著影响。就提高健康体检参与率提出相关建议。

With the development of aging and Health China, this paper analyzes the current behaviors and potential demands of physical examination of the middle - aged and elderly in the urban and rural area of Beijing. It discusses participation, interval, driving way, potential participation and relative service demands of physical examination among people aged 50 and above by using descriptive analysis and explores the influential factors of current behaviors and potential demands of physical examination by using Logistic Regression model. The results show that most of the middle - aged and elderly have positive cognition of physical examination and prefer to carry out physical examination once a year in hospital, however, the number of them choose to medical examination center is on the rise. The results also show that the physical examination organized by work unit, the urban and rural community and themselves are three main driving ways and the potential demands of physical examination are higher than the current behaviors. Gender, income, place of residence and cognition of physical examination significantly affect the current behaviors of physical examination, furthermore, income and cognition of physical exami- nation significantly affect the potential demands of physical examination. Suggestions on improving the participation rate of physical examination are proposed.
