“Core” and “Periphery”:An Interpersonal Network Analysis of a College Class

大学班级作为学校中主要的社会组织,承担着重要的教育功能,关系网络是班级成长发育过程中的重要体现,良好的班级人际关系网络对班级建设和大学生个人身心发展至关重要。相关研究表明,大学生班级凝聚力受多方因素的影响,对S大学G班级的人际关系网络"密度"、"凝聚子群"和"中心度"进行测量和分析,结果发现:"内部圈子"的本质特征是班级凝聚力弱的根本原因,"核心人物"对班级的维稳发挥着关键作用,"边缘人物"常常游离于班级网络之外。

Class is a major social organization in schools and bears important educational function.Interpersonal network reflects the growth of a class.A harmonious interpersonal network is very important for the construction of a class and the mental health of college students.Many factors influence the cohesive force of a college class as the related researches have shown.Class G in S University is selected in this case for analysis.The network density,cliques and centrality in its interpersonal network are measured.The findings show that the nature of the inner circles determines the cohesive force of a class,that the＂core figures＂in a class play an important role in maintaining the stability of a class,and that the＂peripheral figures＂wander out of the class network.
