We should inherit and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture,said Xi Jinping in the report at the19th CPC National Congress,which indicates the direction to build socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.Traditional Chinese culture of cultivating moral characters takes humanity theories as its base,views moral selfdiscipline as its basic model and views spiritual realm as its ideal pursuit,forming a perfect cultural system.In the new era,to promote excellent traditional Chinese culture of cultivating moral characters and build socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,we must uphold the position of Chinese culture and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture in practice and create a new glory of Chinese culture.
