The dielectric loss of the capacitor voltage transformer （tgδ） and measurement of capacitance ,special test methods must be adopted. If the testing method is wrong, the main equipment will be damaged ,seriously affect the safe operation of the system .This paper analyzes and explains the measuring methods and points out the problems that should be paid attention to ,which will help to improve the measurement level of the test personnel.
