Experience of Qiao Wenjun Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Myasthenia Gravis

重症肌无力是一种获得性神经肌肉接头传递障碍的自身免疫性疾病，应用药物多以改善患者疾病症状为目标，但单纯应用西药治疗该病，药物副作用较大。乔文军教授以西医辨病、中医辨证相结合，运用中医补脾益肾，滋阴益气疗法治疗重症肌无力，在减少西药应用的同时，取得了满意的疗效。

Myasthenia gravis （MG） is an autoimmune disease in which antibodies target postsynaptic membrane components at the neuromuscular junction （NMJ）, leading to transmission disorder. The goal of the modem medicine for MG is to improve the symptoms of MG, but the side effects of the drag for MG are also larger. Professor Qiaowenjun adopted modem medicine to diagnosis and used traditional medicine to differentiate syndrome. Moreover, Professor Qiao treated MG with traditional Chinese medicine to invigorate the kidney and spleen and nourishing yin and qi for MG treatment. Qiao therapy method reduced the modem medicine application, and achieved satisfactory therapy efficacy.
