摘要
China＇s Ministry of Education and the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development recently promulgated plans （from 2018- 2020） to adopt measures to guarantee all children, especially those from poverty- stricken families, receive compulsory education. According to the plans, China will promulgate preferential policies to promote compulsory education in poverty-stricken areas.
