The Application of Taoyuan Embroidery in the School-based Art Curriculum in Junior Middle School

桃源刺绣历史悠久,具有独特的艺术魅力。其艺术特色主要体现在题材的内容、造型的特色、色彩的品位、构图的风格四个方面。在了解桃源刺绣的历史渊源和艺术特色的基础上,把桃源刺绣的元素运用到初中美术校本课程中来,让学生感受"艺术来源于生活"的深刻道理,从而萌发出传承本土文化之情。

Taoyuan embroidery has a long history and a unique artistic charm. Its artistic features are mainly embodied in four aspects： the content of the subject matter, the features of the modeling, the taste of the color, the style of the composition. On the basis of understanding the historical origin and artistic characteristics of Taoyuan embroidery, we apply the elements of Ta- oyuan embroidery to junior high school art school-based courses, so that students can feel the profound reason of ＂art comes from life＂ and thus sprout the emotion of inheriting the local culture.
