Overview of the Main Points in the “Theory and Practice of Right to Peace in China” Seminar

2017年9月11日,由中国人权研究会和中共江苏省委宣传部共同主办、中共中央党校国际战略研究院和南京大学历史学院共同承办的"中国的和平权理念与实践"理论研讨会在南京大学召开。来自国内党政有关部门、多所高校和人权研究机构以及社会组织的70多位代表就"和平权基本理论的研究""和平与和平权在中国的实践""中国历史文化传统与和平权""‘人类命运共同体’的和平构建""和平权与和平学""和平学的推广与学科建设"等议题进行了深入研讨交流。此次会议的成功召开,有助于从人权角度进一步阐释我国的和平发展理念及中国对世界和平所作出的巨大贡献,也有助于促进中国特色人权理论体系的建设。

The ＂Theory and Practice of Right to Peace in China＂ Seminar was hosted at Nanjing University by China Society for Human Rights Studies （the ＂CSHRS＂） and Jiangsu Provincial Publicity Department of CPC, and organized by Institute of International and Strate- gic Studies of Party School of the Central Committee of CPC and the History Faculty of Nanjing University on September 11, 2017. Professors and scholars from universities and human rights institutes, and representatives of government departments and organizations attended the Semi- nar. Attendees had an indepth discussion about the fundamental theory of right to peace, China＇s practice of right to peace, China＇s traditional culture and right to peace, the peaceful building of the community of a shared future and right to peace, the relation of right to peace and peaces studies, the promotion and discipline construction of peaces studies. From human rights perspective, this seminar is a broadcast and explanation of China＇s concept of peaceful development and its contribution to the world peace. It will further motivate the system develop- ment of the human rights theory with Chinese characteristics.
