河南省宜阳县南留古城东城墙发掘简报

A Preliminary Report on the Excavation of the East Wall of the Ancient City Nanliu in Yiyang County,Henan Province

南留古城位于洛阳市宜阳县白杨镇南留村东田地之中。2013年,在对伊川徐阳被盗墓进行发掘时调查发现,结合《水经注》所载,推测其可能是西汉早期的陆浑县城的县治所在。经初步调查得知,该城平面大致呈梯形,墙体均有不同程度的破坏。2014年11月,为了解该城的夯筑方式及时代,我们在东城墙进行了试掘。发现有城墙、灰坑、灰沟、房屋、墓葬等遗迹,出土有陶器、骨器、蚌器、铁器、铜器等。

The ancient city of Nanliu is located in the farmland east of the village of Nanliu in Yiyang County, Luoyang. In 2013, The city remains were discovered in 2013 during an investigation conducted by the Luoyang Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology. Base on the records in the Notes on Book of Waterways（Shui Jing Zhu）, the city probably was the seat of the government of the Luhun county in the early Western Han. The investigation shows the city was approximately trapezoidal in plan and its walls suffered varying degrees of damages. In order to know when the city walls were built and what techniques employed, we conducted a trial excavation of a section of the east wall in November 2014. The excavation yielded features including refuse pits, ditches, houses, tombs, and objects including pottery and objects made of bone, shell.
