Build a Modern Economic System in the New Era——On the Supply-side Structural Reform from the Perspective of Changing Social Conflicts

中国共产党第十九次全国代表大会上,习近平同志代表第十八届中央委员会向大会所作报告中,阐述了对于我们所处时代方位和我国社会主要矛盾的新判断,成为以深化供给侧结构性改革为主线推进现代化宏伟事业的战略性认识依据和设计指导方略的关键性原点。在新时代,面对以"不平衡"为关键特征的社会主要矛盾,我们在创新与奋斗中过程中,必须保持清醒的头脑,牢牢把握关于基本国情和我国国际地位的正确认识,把供给侧结构性改革的主线紧紧结合于生命线、幸福线,在中国特色社会主义道路上坚持不懈的长期奋斗中,保持我们"无比强大的前进定力"。

In his report delivered at the Nineteenth National Congress of the CPC, Comrade Xi Jinping, on behalf of the Eighteenth CPC Central Committee, expounded China＇s current historic period and the new judgment about China＇s major social conflicts, which has become the basis of understanding the strategy for promoting the grand cause of modernization through the main line of deepening supply-side structural reform as well as the key origin of the ensuing design of guidelines. As we innovate and work hard in face of the main social conflicts featuring ＂unbalanced＂ development in the new era, we must keep a sober mind; firmly grasp the correct understanding of China＇s basic conditions and international status; combine the main line of deepening supply-side structural reforrm closely with the lifeline and people＇s happiness; and have a ＂very strong determination to move tbrward＂ in all our unremitting endeavors on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
