摘要
西安市孤儿教养院推动并发展了"教养并重"近代慈善教育理念,且遵循"收养孤苦儿童,施以相当教育,使成人后有自立能力"的办学理念。其推行的是"三合一"的慈善教育体制,将家庭、学校、社会教育合而为一。西安市孤儿教养院是近代意义上的社会公益机构,体现了中国传统慈善事业的现代性转型,这不仅扩展了中国慈善事业外延,同时也扩充并丰富了近代慈善事业的内涵。
The Institute of Xi ＇an orphanage promoted and developed the modem charity education concept that ＂fostering deserves equal attention as education＂. And it also follows the concept of running the school education that is ＂adoption of orphan children, treated with a considerable education, enable adults to be independent＂. It promotes the ＂three-in-one＂ charitable education system that combines the family, school and social education. As a modern social welfare institution, Xi ＇an orphan education institute embodies the modern transformation of Chinese traditional philanthropy, which not only expands Chinese philanthropy, but also enriches the connotation of modem philanthropy.
