马克思主义认为,社会主要矛盾规定该社会的根本任务。党的十九大报告指出,中国特色社会主义进入新时代,社会的主要矛盾发生了新变化,但我国处于社会主义初级阶段的基本国情没变。因此,发展生产力是社会主义的根本任务这一判断没有发生根本性变化,但对发展生产力有了更高的要求。只有坚持以科学发展为关键、以深化改革为动力、以改善民生为根本,才能实现更平衡、更充分的发展,满足人民日益增长的美好生活需要。

Marxism believes that the major social contradiction defines the basic task of the society. The reports of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China points out that the socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the major social contradiction has changed,. However, the fundamental realities of the country is still the same. To develop productive forces is still the fundamental task of socialism, just a higher demand.
