东方芒蝇研究进展及检疫现状

Research progress on Atherigona orientalis(Diptera:Muscidae) and its status of quarantine

东方芒蝇是一种在热带和亚热带地区广泛分布的动植物腐食性昆虫,但国外也曾报道是甜瓜和辣椒等水果和蔬菜的害虫。本文综述了东方芒蝇的国内外研究进展,包括形态学鉴定、地理分布、食性、生物学特点、各国的检疫现状以及我国截获情况等方面。希望引起国内从事植物保护工作人员的关注,加强国内对该种地理分布、生物学、生态学的研究,同时建议口岸检疫部门关注对该种的检验检疫。

Atherigona orientalis was reported to cause primary damage to some fruits and vegetables,such as melon and pepper,although it is primarily a saprophage widely distributed in tropical and subtropical zones. This paper sumarizes the research progress of A. orientalis,including morphological identification,geographical distribu tion,feeding habits,biological features,quarantine status in different countries and interception situation in China. We hope that this paper will attract more attention on A. orientalis from plant protection personnel,and enhance the study on its distribution,biology and ecology in China. More attention by port quarantine department on this species is also suggested.
