Managerial Effects in Business Credit:From the Perspectives of Manager Ability

摘要 商业信用是被广泛使用的交易方式,企业使用商业信用的动机和影响因素一直是理论研究的重要问题。本文基于管理者异质性,研究管理者对企业商业信用的影响。研究发现,企业商业信用中存在管理者效应,即管理者会影响到企业商业信用的使用;管理者能力越强,企业商业信用越多;当公司CEO为财务背景时,公司会有更多地使用商业信用。本文突破了以往商业信用研究框架,为理解公司使用商业信用行为提供了新的视角。 Commercial credit is widely used in the transaction, the use of commercial credit business motivation and influencing factors has been an important issue in theoretical research. Based on the heterogeneity of managers, this paper studies the influence of managers on business credit. The stud- y found that managers effect existing business credit management, which will affect the use of business credit; management ability is stronger, more busi- ness credit ; when the company CEO for financial background, the company will have more commercial credit. This paper breaks through the previous re- search framework of commercial credit, and provides a new perspective for understanding the use of commercial credit.
