Photodynamic Therapy of Port Wine Stains: A Review

葡萄酒色斑是一种以真皮浅层先天性毛细血管扩张畸形为病理特征的血管畸形,临床表现常为面部红色斑片,其颜色可呈粉红,深红或紫红,多累及单侧,为患者及其家庭带来沉重的身心负担。光动力疗法是一种新型医疗技术,多用于肿瘤性疾病及非肿瘤性疾病的治疗。近十年来光动力疗法与脉冲染料激光治疗葡萄酒色斑已取得不俗成效,本文将就光动力疗法治疗葡萄酒色斑的研究新进展加以综述。

Port wine stains（ PWS） are vascular malformation of developmental origin characterized pathologically by ectasia of superficial dermal capillaries and clinically by persistent macular erythema. They vary in color from fairly pale pink to deep red or purplish,affecting most frequently unilateral faces and bringing in tremendous mental stresses and psychological problems to the patients and their families. Photodynamic therapy（ PDT） is a new treatment for PWS,which is also used in tumor and non-tumor treatment. Great progress has been achieved in the treatment of PWS with lasers and intense pulsed light during the last ten years. Photodynamic therapy is a state-of-the-art option for patients with PWS. For these reasons,the progress of PDT of PWS is reviewed in this article.
