摘要
"读者文摘"是学生在教师的指导下,根据个人兴趣爱好和语言能力独立选取并编辑成册的体裁多样、题材多元的文集。学生传阅文摘,阅读其他同伴撰写的读后感,并留下自己的感悟。"读者文摘"以实践共同体和自主学习理论为基础,不仅是学生课外自主阅读的结果,也是泛读学习的手段。实践证明,该模式能有效提高大学英语阅读的量与质。
"Readers' Digest", edited by college students, is a collection of English articles on various topics and of different text types. These proceedings are not only the ends of students' after-school autonomous learning but also the means of on-going extensive reading. Students are required to read their peers' collection and write feedback to each article. They also comment on their classmates' feedback where necessary. Based on the theories of Community of Practice and Autonomous Learning, this approach aims at solving such problems as insufficient amount of reading, low motivation and lack of interaction. It has been proved that this method can effectively increase college students' input and improve their reading abilities to a great extent.
