摘要
多元文化是现代化进程中的产物,也是当代教育强调的基本技能,尤其英语学习的课堂更是中西方多元文化的交汇地。以班克斯的多元文化教育理论为基础,从内容整合、知识建构、偏见消除、教育平等、校园文化控制力增强五个维度入手,对英语专业教学课堂的课程内容和实践活动建构模型。然后分析数据发现,讨论、案例和实践的分层次学习是以文化为中心的课堂实现深化多元文化意识培养的有效途径。
Multiculturalism is a product of the process of modernization and also a basic skill emphasized in contemporary education. In particular, English language learning classroom is the intersection of multiculturalism between China and the West. Based on Banks' theory of multicultural education, this article starts from the five dimensions of content integration, knowledge construction, elimination of prejudice, equality of education, and enhancement of control over campus culture, and constructs a model of the curriculum content and practice activities in the teaching of English majors. The analysis of the data then reveals that the hierarchical learning of discussions, cases and practices is an effective way to cultivate the awareness of multiculturalism in a culture-centered classroom.
