数字出版时代科技期刊的版式设计定位

Typography design orientation of scientific journals in digital publishing era

【目的】为应对数字出版给纸媒体期刊带来的生存压力,适时提出科技期刊的版式设计定位,旨在促进科技期刊的生存与发展。【方法】从理性主义、非理性主义思想出发,对科技期刊的内容、设计形式、设计方法等方面进行设计定位分析。【结果】数字出版时代纸媒出版物已日渐式微,传统科技期刊若要可持续发展,恰当的设计定位将是至关重要的因素之一。【结论】科技期刊必须秉持理性、秩序的办刊设计定位,选择性地吸收非理性主义版式设计形式,以此修正理性主义设计存在的机械、僵化等方面的不足,从而使科技期刊既能够坚持理性主义的办刊设计定位,又能够应时彰显艺术魅力。

[Purposes]In order to cope with the pressure of survival brought by digital publishing to printed journals,this paper puts forward the typography design orientation of scientific journals to promote the survival and development of scientific journals.[Methods]Based on the rationalism and irrationalism,we analyzed the design locations of scientific journals in terms of contents,forms,and design methods. [Findings] In digital publishing era,printed journals have been declined. The traditional scientific journals should find the proper design location to keep their prestige. [Conclusions]The scientific journals should uphold the design principles of rationality and order in the design location,and selectively absorb typography forms of irrationalism. Only by doing so can w e correct rigid and mechanical problems of rationalism designs,making designs of scientific journals adhere to the orientation of rationalism and demonstrate their charm.
