Objective To observe the different ways of clinical application in treatment of limb spasm after stroke. Methods 80 cases of patients with stroke were randomly divided into control group and observation group, control group was given electro acupuncture at acupoints treatment, observation group was given electro-acupuncture treatment of antagonist muscle motion. The FMA scores, Barthel scores, upper and lower limbs MAS scores and the treatment effect were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results After treatment, the FMA scores and Barthel scores of both groups were sig- nificantly improved, and the improvement of observation group was more obvious, the above scores were significantly higher than those of control group (all P〈0.05). The MAS scores of the upper limbs and lower limbs of both groups were significantly decreased, and the improvement of observation group was more obvious, and the scores were significantly lower than those of control group (P〈0.05). The therapeutic effect of observation group was significant, and the total effective rate was significantly higher than that of control group (P〈0.05). Conclusion The effect of electric stimulation of antagonistic muscle points on patients with limb spasm after stroke is significant, which can better improve the clinical symptoms of patients and improve their limb movement function.
