Struggle in the Shackles——An Interpretation of Feminism to the Novel Love in a Fallen City

传统社会中男性占主导地位,男权思想遍及社会的每个角落。女性主义作家高举两性平等的旗帜对男权主义社会的不平等进行抨击,呼吁社会尊重女性权利与地位。张爱玲小说以其对两性的深刻剖析而著称,因此分析张爱玲小说有助于理解中国女性主义思想的表现形式。文章以《倾城之恋》为例分析张爱玲的女性视角,解读张爱玲的爱情观、亲情观以及两性观。笔者认为张爱玲小说中透露出对男权社会的反抗以及对女性自身弱点的谴责。

Traditionally, men dominate in the society and male chauvinism prevails everywhere. The feminist writers hold highly the banner of gender equality and attack the inequality of the patriarchal society, and appeal to the society to respect the rights and status of women. Eileen Chang＇s novels are famous for their profound analysis of the genders. Therefore, the analysis of Eileen Chang＇s novels is helpful to understand the form of the Chinese feminist thought. Through the analysis of Love in a Fallen City, the paper analyzes Eileen Chang＇s view of love, family and gender, and it states that Eileen Chang defied to the patriarchal society and condenmed the weakness of women.
