Development and Implementation of Curriculum with School Characteristics

人大附中西山学校以培养具有21世纪技能的人才为使命,以培养具有"国际视野、中国心"的合格公民为目标。为实现培养目标,学校积极探索国家课程、地方课程的校本化实施并研发特色校本课程,构建了由基础型课程、拓展型课程和探究型课程组成的丰富课程体系。尤其是,1对1数字化未来学习、"中国心"系列课程、项目式学习、学科综合实践课程等特色课程的开发,提高了教师队伍整体素质和学生综合素养,促进了学校的特色发展。

RDFZ Xishan School has the mission of equipping students with skills required by the 21 st century and the goal of cultivating qualified citizens with ＂Global Perspective with a Chinese Heart＂. In order to achieve its mission, the school works hard on implementing national and local curriculum. In the meantime, it has been making efforts to explore the implementation of a two-layered curriculum in the school and develop its uique curriculum with school characteristics, and thus has successfully established a diversified curriculum structure consisting of compulsory courses, extracurricular courses and research- based courses. In particular, special courses including One-to-one Coaching on Digital Future, Series Courses on Cultivating a ＂Chinese Heart＂, Project-based Learning, and Integrated Subjects courses have improved the overall quality of teachers, enhanced students＇ comprehensive qualifications and contributed to the curriculum development with school characteristics.
