Small and medium-sized rural old bridges have been difficult to adapt to the rapid development of transport needs, so the maintenance of such bridges has become a hot issue to be solved. The article will put forward a series of thoughts on the maintenance, reinforcement and main-tenance management of old bridges by analyzing the current situation of old bridges in rural areas, and hope to play a role in promoting the main-tenance and construction of rural road networks.
