Between the Old and the New: Thought Transformation of Workers in the Early Liberation Period Based on Lu Ling's Zhu Guihua's Story

解放初期的工人虽然迎来了崭新的生活,但他们思想上一时还不能适应,对共产党针对工人阶级的政策不够了解或不够信任。路翎短篇小说集《朱桂花的故事》描写了解放初期的工人思想转变的艰难过程:工人要对自己"工人阶级"的身份产生认同感,女性工人还需要冲破旧的家庭观念对自己思想的束缚;即使是党员干部、军事代表,也需要在与工人的交往中完成自身的"再成长",与工人一起转变为社会主义建设需要的"新人"。

Although workers started a new life with the liberation in 1949,they still could not adapt to the changes. They did not un-derstand or trust the ＂ working class policy＂ of the Communist Party of China. Lu Ling＇s short stories Zhu Guihua＇s Story describes the difficult transformation process of the workers＇ thought： workers should have a sense of identity of themselves; woman workers should break shackles on them by the old idea of family; even the Party cadres,the military representatives should complete their ＂ growth＂ in their contact with workers and become ＂ new people＂ together with workers for the socialist construction.
