昌彼得先生是著名目录学家、版本学家。版本目录学的实践造就了昌彼得先生在古籍编目和善本书志方面的创新。昌彼得先生是我国版本学学科体系的建构者,也是我国著名的文献学教育家,培养和造就了一大批文献学学者。

Mr. Chang Bide is a famous scholar of bibliography and edition study. Mr. Chang Bide innovated rare book catalog and ancient books records benefiting from the practice of philology. He constructed the discipline system of studies of editions. In addition,he has cultivated and brought up a large number of scholars through decades of education in philology.
