摘要
"别"的测度义来源于劝止义。测度类"别"的原式为"别是X。",在韵律机制及歧义区分的触发下,"别是"词化为测度标记,"是"经历了由判断动词到情态标记成分的虚化过程;此外,格式中X为VP或NP,多表消极性信息,呈主观非预期特征。用认知凸显观能解释"别(是)"的语义转化,劝止义和测度义属于同一认知基体,其意义的演变是言者凸显不同语义焦点的结果。
The Speculation of ＂Bie＂（别） is originated from the meaning of dissuading. The prototype format of speculation is ＂Bie shi（是）X＂. Under the rhythm mechanism and distinction of ambiguity, ＂Bie shi＂ is lexicalized to a modal marker. Meanwhile, ＂shi＂ is grammaticalized from a judgment verb to a modal marker component. Mostly used as negative information, X presents the subjective unpredictable characteristic. With the pro-minence view of cognitive linguistics, the meaning of speculation and dissuading have the same base, and the evolution of meaning is resulted in the different pro-minence of image schema features.
