Effects of Zinc Oxide on Silane Crosslinked Polyethylene

摘要 利用叔丁基过氧化特戊酸酯作为引发剂,与氧化锌以及乙烯基三甲氧基硅烷以一定比例配合,制备了硅烷自交联聚乙烯。利用红外光谱表征了接枝产物,并确定了最佳配方和工艺。探讨了ZnO、引发剂的含量、加工温度对体系的接枝率、结晶度、凝胶含量以及力学性能的影响。结果表明:随着加工温度的升高,接枝率与凝胶含量均降低,结晶度增大,材料的力学性能则呈现先下降后上升的趋势;而随着ZnO和引发剂用量的增加,材料的接枝率和凝胶含量以及力学性能均呈先上升后下降的趋势;在温度为170℃,PV和ZnO含量为0.25份时,材料的结晶度最低,接枝率和凝胶含量最高,拉伸强度最高,为22.58 MPa。 Silane self-crosslinking polyethylene was prepared by using t-butyl peroxypivalate as initiator and zinc oxide and vinyltrimethoxysilane in a certain proportion. The grafted products were characterized by IR and the optimum formulation and process were determined. The effects of the content of ZnO, initiator and the processing temperature on the grafting rate, crystallinity, gel content and mechanical properties were investigated. The results showed that the grafting rate and gel content decreased with the increase of processing temperature, and the mechanical properties of the composite increased first and then increased. With the increase of the amount of ZnO and the initiator, the grafting rate, gel content and mechanical properties of the composite increased first and then decreased. When the temperature was 170 ℃ and the content of PV and ZnO was0. 25 phr, the grafting rate and gel content were the highest, tensile strength reached up to 20.58 MPa.
