In the context of big data, the landscape of translation practice has experienced significant transformation,with ever more technology integration. As human-machine collaboration becomes the mainstream working style of language services industry,technological competence for translators is getting increasingly important. Based on the new demands of language services industry,the book titled A Practical Course in Translation Technologies is targeted at the technological problems in real world translation practice,and exhibits the knowledge framework of translation technology,with a view to constructing the technological competence system for translators. With the dual function of knowledge dissemination and competence development,this book can contribute to innovating translation technology teaching and cultivating language service professionals,and is also helpful for building China＇s national language service competence.
