WANG Shouchuan's Experience in Treating Infantile Asthma by Three Stages

汪受传教授认为,风痰内伏是小儿哮喘的内在夙根,并提出哮喘分发作期、迁延期、缓解期三期论治,以消风化痰为治疗大法。发作期祛风涤痰,攻邪治肺;迁延期标本兼治,消风扶正;缓解期补益固本,调肺脾肾,临床每获良效。

Professor WANG Shouchuan holds that internal wind-phlegm lurk in interior is the internal root of infantile asthma. Prof. WANG puts forward asthma treatment by three stages： attack stage,deferment stage and remitting stage,with dispelling wind and dissipating phlegm as the therapeutic method. At the attack stage,dispelling wind and clearing phlegm is adopted to attack the pathogen and treat the lung. At the deferment stage,root cause and symptoms are both treated to dispel wind and strengthen vital Qi. At the remitting stage,invigorating and consolidating body resistance,as well as moistening lung,spleen and kidney is used,which seems effective in clinic.
