摘要
美国私立高中联盟推出的学生综合素质评价新模式引发关注。本文从中美比较的角度探讨了综合素质评价、高校招生模式及其相关的科学性和公平性问题,指出美国的学生综合素质评价内容和标准值得借鉴,其招考分离、兼顾学术标准与非学术标准、兼顾招收所有申请者中的优秀者与弱势群体中的相对优秀者等做法也值得参考。针对弱势群体的招生公平性问题不能局限于考试与评价方案本身,需要通过完善招生政策加以解决。
As the new evaluation model of students' comprehensive quality launched by the Mastery Transcript Consortium consisting of top private high schools in the United States has attracted attention, this paper, from the perspective of comparison between China and the United States, probes into issues surrounding evaluation of students' comprehensive quality, college admission practices as well as related issues on scientificness and fairness. It points out that China should borrow ideas from the practices of evaluation of students' comprehensive quality in the United States in terms of both content and criteria. In the United States, admissions and examinations are run separately. Not only are there academic criteria, but also there are non-academic criteria for college admissions. Not only outstanding applicants but also relatively outstanding ones from disadvantaged groups are considered for admission. The fairness of the admissions for the disadvantaged can not be limited to the examination and evaluation scheme itself, the enrollment policy is needed to be improved.
