For large water supply waterworks, it takes a lot of manpower and material resources to clean the sedimentation tank manually. In this paper, we consider the arrangement of the blow-down pipe in the horizontal sedimentation tank, discuss the design which is convenient to drain the sludge while cleaning the horizontal sedimentation tank manually.
