星地闪电探测系统在中国区域探测数据对比分析 被引量:16

Comparison of the satellite-based Lightning Imaging Sensor(LIS) against the ground-based national lightning monitoring network

摘要 根据传感器所处位置的不同,闪电观测资料的获取主要有地面观测和卫星观测两种方式,二者各有优势,对两类资料质量的评估与对比是重要的研究课题.为此本文将我国气象部门国家级地基闪电监测网络——国家雷电监测网与低轨道卫星闪电探测器LIS(Lightning Imaging Sensor)在2009—2015年获取的中国区域资料作为研究对象,基于敏感度试验,确立了星地观测数据匹配的原则、方法和时空窗口阈值,提出了星地匹配比例MP(Match Percent)的定义并从年份、季节、昼夜三个维度对比研究了中国区域星地闪电观测数据的特征,分析了二者定位误差的统计规律和分布比例,讨论了影响因素.本文的工作为星地多源闪电观测数据的质量控制与融合分析提供基础,也为新近发射的我国首枚静止轨道平台闪电成像仪的地面真实性检验和算法修正提供数据和技术储备. According to the location of sensors,there are two kinds of lightning detection data acquisition modes: satellite-based and ground-based,each have their own advantages,the evaluation of data quality is an important issue. In this paper,MP( Match Percent)definition is proposed,and based on a sensitivity test,the time and space match criteria were determined. From multiple dimensions,such as year,season,day and night,the characteristics of MP between the data from polar-orbiting satellites LIS( Lightning Imaging Sensor) and National Lightning Monitoring Network( 2009—2015) were researched. The statistical rules and the distribution ratio of the location error of the satellite-based vs.ground-based lightning detection data are discussed. The work of this paper provides the basis for the quality assessment and fusion analysis of the satellite-based vs. ground-based multi-source lightning detection data and to provide data and technical reserve for the ground truth test and algorithm correction of the first geostationary orbit platform lightning imaging instrument in China.
