With a sense of mission to save the nation in crisis, the group of migrant writers from the different parts of China assembled in Northwest China during the War of Resistance. While resonating spiritually with Northwest China’s geography and environment, they established their own cultural identity.Much affected by the situations, the Northwest China migrant literature mostly by young writers features a fighting spirit with a heroic complex.Nevertheless,it is embodied with the inner weakness, resulting in the loss of the subjectivity. With the identity of sojourn migrants, these writers keep looking for their spiritual hometown, write their own hometown in memory, indulge in personal comfort,or seek the tenderness of"hometown"in alien Northwest China’s land and consign their emotions to the eternal universe and"poetic"women.
