3月的西海岸，随着2017-2018克利伯环球帆船赛的到来，上演了一场欢动的“帆船盛宴”。11艘由青岛制造的克利伯环球大帆船停靠在位于东方影都的星光岛万达游艇会码头。国家级新区与国际知名帆船赛事的“碰撞”，闪现出了别样的精彩。这不仅是青岛立足海洋经济、承接国家战略的一次崭新尝试，更在青岛帆船运动发展的进程中标注了新的历史坐标。

Since 14 years ago when Clipper Round the World Race started the partnership with Qingdao, Clipper Race yatchs have been sailing in the vast ocean with the dreams of Qingdao, constantly improving the popularity and reputation of Qingdao. The Clipper Race ship named after "Qingdao" is like an ambassador that spreads the reputation of Qingdao to all parts of the world.As a brilliant start of the sailing events in Qingdao in 2018, Clipper 2017-18 Round the World Race started from Liverpool, Britain on August 20, 2018 and the fleets successively arrived in Qingdao on March 15, 2018. Over 700 crew members from 40 countries and regions participated in the race, of which more than 300 brave sailors took part in the activities at Qingdao Stopover. Meanwhile, the scale of this race is larger than ever before, and "Qingdao" has also created the historical best record.
