Viscous crude production techniques including thermal recovery and cold recovery techniques are introduced.The thermal recovery techniques include steam huff and puff,complex hot fluid huff and puff,steam flooding,steam assisted gravity drainage,in-situ combustion,THAI,and microwave heating oil production,and cold recovery techniques include sand-carrying cold production,chemical flooding,CO2 flooding,and microbial enhanced oil recovery.The principles,characteristics and applicability of various viscous crude recovery techniques are analyzed comprehensively,and the research direction of viscous crude recovery techniques are discussed.
