摘要
人是大学存在的主体,大学活动的目的和归宿通过人来实现。人才培养是大学的本体功能,科学研究、社会服务与文化传承创新从本体功能中衍生出来,其目的是为了更好地服务于人才培养的质量和水平。大学的本体功能和衍生功能既相互独立,又内在地联系在一起。要实现大学功能之间的最佳组合,消除各功能既为目的又为手段的状态,考察其对大学和社会实际发挥的功效,必须从大学功能系统出发对大学功能效应进行整体把握。这是实现大学意义的需要,也是弘扬大学理想的体现。
Human being is the main body of the social existence.The purpose and destination of university activities are all reflected by human.Talent cultivation is the fundamental function of universities,and universities' functions of scientific researches,social services and cultural heritages are derived from this fundamental function with the purpose to better serve the quality and level of talent cultivation.The fundamental function and the deprived function of universities are both independent and related to each other.In order to achieve the best combination of these two functions,it not only needs to eliminate the current situations that these functions are purposes as well as means,but also needs to investigate the actual effects exerted on universities and the society,and then get a grasp in rough about the university's functional effect.After all,this is the requirements to realize the meanings of universities and to promote the ideals of university.
