摘要
通过小样本实验分析,对多媒体环境下英语专业学生在进行听力理解时,听力教学中的不同模态及其组合方式对其产生的影响。实验检验4组英语专业大二学生在视听一段美国之音视频新闻时的理解能力。把视频新闻以不同的模态组合方式对4组学生进行播放,听完后,学生依据听力笔记把英语概要写出来。实验结果证明,对多模态组合进行恰当利用能使学生的听力理解水平得到有效提高;只要把视觉信息、听觉信息对应起来,就能充分发挥理解作用;与汉语字幕相比,英语字幕对听力理解效果更佳,原因是汉语字幕会产生更多的词汇干扰。
Through a small sample experiment on listening comprehension of English major students in multimedia environment,the influence of different modes and their combinations of teaching effects are analyzed.The experiment examines the understanding for four groups of English majors students after an audial and visual news of the United States.The video news is combined in different modes for the four groups of students,after listening,the students are required to write out an English summary based on their listening notes.The experimental results show that the appropriate use of multimodal combination can improve the students' listening comprehension level.As long as the visual information,audial information corresponding up,students can fully play the role of understanding.Compared with Chinese subtitles,English subtitles have better effect on listening comprehension.The reason is that Chinese subtitles may produce more vocabulary.
