明太仓州施贞石墓出土古籍《古今考》中存有散夹于各卷内的手抄文牍共14页,该手抄文牍性质为明嘉万时期太仓州太仓卫前千户所官员奖惩履历文册;其中"巡抚""巡按""巡盐御史"等官职的出现体现了明代御史"因事特设"的特点和巡查地方及考核官员的职责。该文牍在保存明代卫所官员履历资料和反映都察院御史考核卫所官员职能等方面,具有重要的文物和史料价值。
