Feminine writing is a way to express feminism through the description of the life experience and character of the female writers as the main body. The compassion of the black American woman writer Toni Morrison is the representative work of women＇s writings. This paper will briefly discuss the way of expression of women＇s thoughts and the construction of female figure in the novel compassion,so as to reveal the serious persecution of women in the slavery and patriarchal society.
