摘要
通过对上海地区一所高水平研究型大学的问卷调查发现,青年教师在本土校园的国际化参与集中体现在个人主导的科研探索活动,而在国际化教学方面的表现呈现两极化趋势;在跨境交流方面主要涉及中长期海外访学,以及时长在两周以内的短期流动。不同群体在国际化参与方面的差异反映了我国以建设世界一流大学为主旨的国际化战略、不同学科领域及其所依托院系的内在属性,以及学校特定政策规定,直接或间接对青年教师日常学术工作所产生的影响。研究者建议:通过平台建设和激励举措加强青年教师在国际化教学领域的作用发挥;通过倾斜性政策为青年教师开展国际交流合作提供助力;完善针对不同学科与院系的考评制度;加强对青年教师跨境交流的支持力度。
Through the empirical investigation of a high-level research university in Shanghai,this paper found that the junior faculty members' participation in internationalization in local campus is mainly embodied in individual-led exploratory research,but their performance in international teaching shows a tendency of polarization,with a high proportion of most positive and negative participants coexisted;and their most notable forms of physical mobility are long-term overseas visits of more than6 months,and short-term cross-border flows within2 weeks.The differences among this cohort in their participation in internationalization reflect the direct or indirect influences of China's internationalization strategies for building-up world-class universities,the intrinsic attributes of different disciplines and departments they rely on,and specific policies and regulations issued by the university,on the daily routine of junior faculty members.This paper suggests to strengthen the practice and the role of junior faculty in international teaching by providing them with more and better opportunities and incentive measures;promote this cohort in developing international exchanges and cooperation through targeted policies;give more objective and fair assessments for their international activities by improving the evaluation system based on different disciplines and departments;and further increase diversified supports for their physical oversea mobility.
