影像叙事,市民参与和社区公共空间再想象——香港都市转型下的“妙想毡开”西营盘计划

从影像叙事、市民参与和社区公共空间再想象等视角论述了香港"妙想毡开"西营盘计划展开过程。作为香港发展缩影的山地社区,西营盘经历了卫生现代性考量下的殖民规划、战后垂直的都市景观以及市区重建与士绅化进程。在香港特定的都市社会转型的空间脉络下,本计划运用参与式影像、田野考察、在地实践、公众参与等方法,通过公共文化事件重塑社区公共空间的意义,唤起多元主体对社区公共空间的共同再想像。

The paper analyzes the process of Magic Carpet project in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong, in the perspective of film narrative, civic engagement and community spaces re-envisioning. Sai Ying Pun, a mountainous community as an epitome of Hong Kong＇s urban development, has experienced the colonial planning involving the hygienic modernism considerations, the vertical urban landscape after WWII, and the urban renewal and gentrification projects. This project adopts participatory filming, field investigation, local practice and public engagement in the specific urban-socio transformation context in Hong Kong. It aims to propose an alternative approach to responding positively to urban regeneration issues by encouraging multiple subjects to re-envision the public space in communities and re- shaping the meaning of community public space by the use of public events.
