Human has never stopped exploring light since the practice of drilling wood to make fire. Light from fire, candle, oil and electricity signifies the change from practical use to safety, energy conservation and environmental protection. Electricity is double-edged for it benefits human but it also brings up risks. However, an illumination engineer in Chongqing has made riskless electric lighting possible. This kind of lamp is used in Yu City Palace in the Imperial Palace, which allows tourists to visit the Palace at night. In the future, this riskless lamp may light up every corner of the world.
