In the English class in middle schools,the core quality of students lies in their cultural knowledge promotion,competence of cultural understanding and intercultural communication as well as their points of view upon the world. This article discusses how to improve the student＇s core quality which includes the language competence,thinking quality and cultural character via some teaching cases.
