The causes of electric bicycle fire resulted by common circuit faults and its main electric components such as charger and battery were analyzed in detail. Fire prevention countermeasures during the electric bicycle charging process were raised from two aspects of installing technical protection device, regulating electrical standards and safe use and maintenance so as to provide reference for effectively reducing the occurrence of electric bicycle fire, the casualties and property losses.
