Objective To investigate the clinical effects of different doses of simvastatin in the treatment of cerebral infarction. Methods 106 patients with cerebral infarction who were admitted to our hospital were selected from2016.7.12 to 2017.7.12 as the study subjects. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into groups, with 53 patients in each group. Two groups of patients were given different doses of simvastatin for treatment. The treatment effect was compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in NFDS score between the two groups before treatment(P〉0.05). After treatment, NFDS score in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the conventional group(P〈0.05); the total effective rates in the experimental group and the conventional group were 92.45% and 77.36% respectively after treatment, with significant difference between the two groups(P〈0.05); the incidence rates of adverse reactions in the experimental group and the conventional group were7.55% and 5.66% respectively, and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P〉0.05). Conclusion The higher dose of simvastatin in the patients with cerebral infarction can reduce the damage of neurological function and improve the treatment effect, which is safe and effective, and is worthy of being adopted.
