The definition of the polar coordinates and the use of the polar coordinates instruction are described.The NC programmings with polar coordinates are applied in the hole group parts of the waist shaped groove,the regular pentagon and the circumference distribution by example,which is shown that the NC programmings with polar coordinates could not only simplify NC programming of the special structural parts,improve programming efficiency and improve machining accuracy,but also have certain reference function and guiding significance to the NC programming in practice.
