回转窑设备的运转正常与否,直接影响着球团矿生产的顺利进行。针对回转窑窑头耐材在使用过程中存在的裂纹、脱落等问题,从耐火材料的选择与施工,到回转窑窑头的结构﹑密封与冷却做了一系列技术改进。改进后,回转窑窑头耐材使用寿命实现了质的飞跃,由原来的4~6个月延长到了6~8个月,非计划维修情况得到了有效控制;在降低了备件加工成本的同时,延长了生产设备的运行时间,球团矿的产量和质量也有一定程度的提高。
