Discussion on the Evaluation Method of Graduation Thesis of Economics and Management Undergraduate——Based on the Academic Average and Graduation Thesis Scores Distribution Fit Test

在认为经管类学生学业平均成绩和毕业论文成绩近似服从正态分布的基础上,首先用拟合检验法对毕业论文成绩综合评价方法的有效性进行检验,表明该方法的有效性是值得怀疑的。然后用最大似然估计法计算学业平均成绩与毕业论文成绩的均值与方差,表明该方法提高了毕业论文成绩,拉大了成绩差距。毕业论文成绩综合评价方法不能反映学生的真实学业成绩而需要改进。

Based on the assumption that the academic records of undergraduates and the scores of graduation thesis are approximately subject to the normal distribution, the validity of the comprehensive evaluation method of graduation thesis scores is tested bydistribution fit test, which shows that the validity of the method is questionable. Then, the mean and variance of the academic average grade and the thesis grade are calculated by the maximum likelihood estimation method, which shows that the method improves the graduation thesis grade and widens the grade gap. The comprehensive evaluation of graduation thesis scores does not reflect the true academic performance of students and needs to be improved.
